Fishing at Riu Ebre a Tortosa
The lower Ebro through Tortosa — the only stretch of Catalan fresh water with a worldwide reputation. Deep, slow river holding wels catfish over two metres and carp past twenty kilos, with zander, barbel and bleak off the town bank. About two hours from Barcelona, and the same Catalan licence covers it.
